Prior to our journey, let's gather for a delightful online cappuccino. I'll address any questions about packing, documentation, expenses, and any other queries that may arise.  

Arrival in Lisbon: Welcome to Portugal! After arriving in Lisbon, head to your hotel to settle in and relax after your journey. We’ll meet as a group at the hotel earlier in the day for a welcome lunch, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow travelers and discuss the exciting journey ahead.

In the afternoon, we’ll begin our exploration of Lisbon. Visit Rossio Square, the vibrant heart of the city, and stroll through the Baixa district, with its grand plazas and charming pedestrian streets. Discover the historic Praça do Comércio, a riverside square steeped in history, and enjoy a leisurely walk along the elegant Avenida da Liberdade.

In the evening, we’ll come together for a Welcome Dinner at a charming local restaurant, featuring traditional Portuguese cuisine and the soulful sounds of Fado music.

After breakfast, we’ll set out for a full-day trip to the enchanting towns of Cascais and Sintra. Begin by exploring Cascais, with its beautiful Praia da Rainha and vibrant old town. Then, we’ll head to Sintra, a fairy-tale destination known for its romantic palaces and lush landscapes. Visit the iconic Pena Palace and stroll through the historic center. Afterward, we’ll return to Lisbon for a relaxing evening. 

Today, we’ll journey to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved Roman and medieval heritage. Explore the stunning Temple of Diana, the Gothic Évora Cathedral, and the Chapel of Bones, a haunting yet fascinating landmark. Savor local Alentejo cuisine during lunch and enjoy the scenic landscapes of this historic region before heading back to Lisbon. 

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a day of exploration through Lisbon’s historic and cultural gems. Begin with a guided tour of the Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and marvel at the grandeur of the Jerónimos Monastery. Experience the bustling Rossio Square and ride the iconic Tram 28 through the narrow streets of Alfama, one of Lisbon’s oldest districts. Later, visit the Castelo de São Jorge for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Conclude the day with free time to explore at your own pace or enjoy a pastel de nata at a local pastelaria. 

Bid farewell to Lisbon as we travel to Porto, with a meaningful stop at Fátima, one of the world’s most important pilgrimage sites. Visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima and take a moment to reflect in this serene setting. Afterward, we’ll continue to Porto, where you can settle into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. 

Start the day with a guided tour of Porto, including the Ribeira district’s charming streets and the iconic Livraria Lello. Discover the city’s stunning architecture and indulge in a Port wine tasting at one of Porto’s renowned cellars. Spend the afternoon exploring on your own, perhaps visiting the Sé Cathedral or strolling along the Douro River. 

Today, you have the option to join a day trip to Aveiro, often called the “Venice of Portugal” for its picturesque canals and moliceiro boats. Alternatively, enjoy a leisurely day in Porto, exploring its markets, museums, or simply soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. 

Experience the beauty of the Douro Valley with a scenic river cruise. Admire the stunning vineyards, historic villages, and iconic bridges that define this UNESCO-listed region. In the evening, we’ll gather for a Farewell Dinner, celebrating the memories and friendships forged during our journey 

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Portugal. Transportation to the airport can be arranged for an additional cost, ensuring a smooth and comfortable departure. Safe travels and até breve!
