Arrival in Milan
Welcome to Milan! Upon arrival, you’ll head to your elegant 4-star hotel in the heart of the city’s fashion and design district. Private airport transfers can be arranged for a smooth start to your journey.  Our journey begins in the heart of Milan. In the morning, we step inside the magnificent Duomo, exploring its stunning interior before taking the elevator up to the rooftop, where the views stretch across the city rooftops to the snow-dusted Alps. Just outside, the Christmas Market at Piazza Duomo fills the square with wooden chalets, sparkling lights, and the sweet aroma of mulled wine. We wander through this festive wonderland, discovering artisan crafts, holiday treats, and the dazzling Christmas tree that stands proudly before the cathedral. 

Evening in Milan
As the sun sets, we’ll stroll past the illuminated Duomo and through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Our day ends with a glamorous Welcome Dinner at the iconic Dolce & Gabbana restaurant (included)—your first taste of Italy’s beauty, elegance, and flavor. 

Today we head to beautiful Lugano, where the magic of Christmas feels truly unforgettable. Surrounded by the lake and mountains, this charming Swiss town becomes even more special during the holiday season.

We’ll enjoy time at Lugano’s enchanting Christmas Market, with its festive lights, seasonal treats, and elegant winter atmosphere. Later, we make our way up to Monte Brè, where breathtaking views over the lake and surrounding mountains create one of the most magical moments of the day.

Afterward, there will be some free time to enjoy Lugano at your own pace, perhaps with a warm drink, a bit of shopping, or simply soaking in the beauty of this festive Swiss escape.

Today we board the train north to the Alpine gem of Trento. The medieval squares transform into one of Italy’s most enchanting Christmas Markets, with dozens of wooden chalets offering handmade gifts, mulled wine, and festive specialties. Between the Piazza Duomo and the mighty Castello del Buonconsiglio, the town glows with Alpine traditions. This is a perfect day to taste mountain cheeses, sip hot drinks, and soak up the magical atmosphere before returning to Milan in the evening.  

Verona is so much more than the city of Romeo and Juliet. We begin in the Piazza Bra, admiring the Roman Arena that has stood for over two millennia. The city’s Christmas heart beats in the Piazza dei Signori, where festive stalls glow under sparkling lights. Beyond Juliet’s balcony, we visit the Castelvecchio, a medieval fortress rich with history and art, and walk across the Ponte Scaligero over the Adige River. Verona offers romance, culture, and holiday charm all in one unforgettable day. 

The morning is free in Milan for last strolls, festive shopping, or a museum visit (optional). By midday, we board a high-speed train to Bologna, the lively capital of Emilia-Romagna. After checking in to our boutique hotel, we begin exploring the city’s magic: miles of UNESCO-listed porticoes, elegantly lit for the season, guiding us through medieval streets. Under these arches, Bologna welcomes us with warmth, beauty, and the irresistible aroma of fresh pasta and pastries. 

We start our day in the heart of Bologna, where the city’s elegant streets, cafés, and markets come alive with festive charm. Later, we enjoy a fun pasta making class in Italy’s gastronomic capital, followed by lunch — a delicious and memorable way to experience one of the country’s most beloved culinary traditions.

Afterward, we follow the world’s longest portico to the Sanctuary of San Luca, perched high on a hill above the city. The panoramic view over Bologna’s rooftops is breathtaking, especially under the crisp December sky. The rest of the afternoon offers time to wander through food markets, shop for gourmet gifts, and savor the unforgettable atmosphere of this beautiful and flavorful city. Dinner tonight is at leisure, with many wonderful trattorias to choose from.

A morning train carries us to the magical city of Venice, where winter only adds to its charm. We begin with an unforgettable gondola ride, gliding through the canals and taking in the beauty, romance, and timeless atmosphere that make Venice so special.

Afterward, we wander through the city’s enchanting labyrinth of canals and bridges, cross the iconic Rialto Bridge, and arrive at St. Mark’s Square, where the basilica glimmers beautifully in the winter light. At Campo Santo Stefano, Venice’s Christmas Market invites us to enjoy Murano glass, local crafts, and festive holiday treats. We return to Bologna in the evening, filled with the joy and beauty of a truly magical day.

This morning we travel to Florence, cradle of the Renaissance. We admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, stroll through the Piazza della Signoria, and cross the famous Ponte Vecchio. December brings an extra delight: the German Christmas Market at Piazza Santa Croce, where Alpine chalets sell gingerbread, ornaments, and Bavarian specialties. There will also be time for optional museum visits, such as the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia, or to shop for Florentine leather and artisan goods. In the evening, we return to Bologna. 

This morning is free to enjoy Bologna as you wish — perhaps to revisit a favorite piazza, shop for gourmet specialties, or relax in a café. After lunch, we gather for a private wine tasting, paired with regional cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal delicacies. In the evening, our journey concludes with a Farewell Dinner in a local trattoria, where we celebrate the flavors, laughter, and friendships that made this trip so special.

Hotel room upgrades and expenses beyond breakfast during your stay are not covered. Please note that reservations will be made for a "double room," and a single room can be added as an optional upgrade. 

Your meals and snacks are not included, with the exception of the Welcome Dinner and Farewell Dinner, which are part of your package. 

Tickets for museums, trains, and other attractions are not included in your package unless specifically listed as included in the itinerary. For optional day trips, transportation such as train tickets is not included unless otherwise stated. 

Tips for services and meals are not included in your package. Please plan accordingly for gratuities.
