Couples Journey to Umbria & Tuscany Itinerary October 2-10

Prior to our journey, let's gather for a delightful online cappuccino. I'll address any questions about packing, documentation, expenses, and any other queries that may arise.  

Welcome to Italia. Upon arrival, you will make your way to our stunning countryside villa nestled in the rolling hills of Umbria—Italy’s green heart. Private airport transfers can be arranged for a seamless and comfortable arrival.

After check-in, the afternoon is intentionally slow. Take time to rest, unpack, and breathe in the peaceful rhythm of the Umbrian countryside. Light refreshments will be waiting for you.

Evening in the Villa
As golden light settles over the hills, we gather for a relaxed welcome aperitivo followed by our first dinner together. Long conversations, local flavors, and the beginning of a beautiful shared journey.

Morning in Umbria
After a leisurely breakfast at the villa, we head to Città della Pieve—one of Umbria’s most charming hill towns. With its narrow brick streets, Renaissance architecture, and sweeping countryside views, this town feels untouched by time.

Enjoy time to explore at a relaxed pace before we return.

Afternoon Highlight – Extra Virgin Olive Oil Experience
Later in the afternoon, we experience a private extra virgin olive oil tour and tasting. Discover the traditions behind one of Italy’s most essential ingredients and learn how to truly taste and appreciate high-quality olive oil.

Optional Experience
For those who prefer, a tee time can be arranged at the renowned Lamborghini Golf & Resort for a refined sporting experience in the Umbrian landscape.

Evening
Dinner together at a carefully selected local restaurant, enjoying the authenticity and flavors of the region.

Tuscan Wine Experience
Today we cross into Tuscany for a guided wine experience at a sustainable winery. Walk through vineyards, learn about production, and enjoy a curated lunch paired with exceptional wines.

Afternoon at Fonteverde Thermal Spa
The afternoon is dedicated to wellness and relaxation at Fonteverde Thermal Spa. Soak in natural hot spring pools overlooking the Tuscan countryside, unwind in panoramic thermal baths, and fully embrace the art of slow living.

Return to the villa in the evening for a relaxed night.

Morning Highlight – Truffle Hunting Experience
Today we venture into the Umbrian countryside for a private truffle hunting experience with expert hunters and their trained Lagotto dogs. After the hunt, we enjoy a delicious lunch inspired by this prized local treasure.

Afternoon in Orvieto
In the afternoon, we explore the magnificent hilltop town of Orvieto with a private guide. Visit the breathtaking Duomo, descend into St. Patrick’s Well, discover underground caves, and wander through its historic streets.

Return to the villa in the evening.

Morning in Assisi
Today we visit Assisi, one of Italy’s most meaningful and beautiful towns. With a private guide, we explore the Basilica of St. Francis and the charming medieval center.

Afternoon at Leisure
Enjoy time for a relaxed lunch and to soak in the atmosphere before returning to the villa for a peaceful evening.

Morning in Montepulciano
We begin the day in Montepulciano, where Renaissance architecture meets world-class wine. Enjoy a guided visit followed by a multi-course lunch and wine tasting in historic underground cellars.

Afternoon in Pienza
Later, we visit Pienza, known as the “Ideal City of the Renaissance.” Stroll through its elegant streets, admire breathtaking valley views, and enjoy time for exploration.

Return to Umbria in the evening.

Morning in Cortona
Our final full day brings us to Cortona, a picturesque hill town known for its sweeping views, artisan shops, and timeless charm.

Enjoy time to explore and shop at a relaxed pace.

Afternoon Highlight – Pasta-Making Class
In the late afternoon, we gather for a private pasta-making class in a villa setting, paired with organic wines. Learn traditional techniques and celebrate the joy of Italian cooking together.

Farewell Dinner
Our journey concludes with a special farewell dinner—an evening of gratitude, laughter, and shared memories.

 After breakfast, departures begin. Private transfers can be arranged according to your flight schedule.

International and domestic flights are not included in the package. However, I can help you find and book the most convenient and cost-effective airfare options. I’ll search for the best available flights that fit your travel schedule and ensure a smooth start to your journey. This service can be added upon request at no extra cost.

Hotel room upgrades and expenses beyond breakfast during your stay are not covered. Please note that reservations will be made for a "double room," and a single room can be added as an optional upgrade. 

Your meals and snacks are not included, with the exception of the Welcome Cocktail, Welcome Dinner and Farewell Dinner, which are part of your package. 

Tickets for museums, trains, and other attractions are not included in your package unless specifically listed as included in the itinerary. For optional day trips, transportation such as train tickets is not included unless otherwise stated. 

Tips for services and meals are not included in your package. Please plan accordingly for gratuities. 

Charges for international phone calls, internet, and communication services not included in the package. 

Costs associated with trip interruptions, delays, or changes not caused by the travel agency. 

Please note that the local tourist tax is not included and is payable directly at the hotels.
