Prior to our journey, let's gather for a delightful online cappuccino. I'll address any questions about packing, documentation, expenses, and any other queries that may arise.  

Arrival in Lisbon: Welcome to Portugal! After arriving in Lisbon, head to your hotel to settle in and relax after your journey. We’ll meet as a group at the hotel later in the day for a welcome gathering. Transportation from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost, ensuring a smooth start to your adventure.  In the evening, we’ll come together for a Welcome Dinner at a charming local restaurant, where we’ll share stories and excitement for the journey ahead, while tasting traditional Portuguese cuisine. 

After a leisurely breakfast, get ready to explore Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks on a guided walking tour. We’ll visit the magnificent Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has stood as a symbol of Portugal’s Age of Discovery. Next, we’ll admire the intricate details of the Jerónimos Monastery, another stunning monument filled with history. Stroll through the famous Praça do Comércio, one of Europe’s grandest squares, and walk along the Rua Augusta Arch to enjoy panoramic views of the city.

We’ll also pass by the bustling Rossio Square and wander through the quaint streets of Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest neighborhood. End your day with a visit to a traditional pastelaria, where you can sample the famous pastéis de nata.

After breakfast, we’ll kick off the day with a scenic walk along the Euro Boardwalk, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Tagus River. Next, we’ll hop on the iconic Tram 28, a ride that takes you through the narrow, winding streets of Lisbon, offering glimpses of historic sites like the Sé Cathedral, the oldest church in the city.

The afternoon will be free for you to explore on your own—wander through the boutique-lined streets of Chiado, or relax with a coffee in one of Lisbon’s charming outdoor cafés.

As the evening approaches, we’ll ascend to the Castelo de São Jorge, perched on a hill overlooking the city. Explore the ancient fortress, stroll through its tranquil gardens, and soak in breathtaking views of Lisbon from above. It’s the perfect way to end the day, with history at your feet and the cityscape glowing in the distance.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a delightful day trip to Cascais, one of Portugal’s most charming coastal towns. Stroll along the beautiful Praia da Rainha, a small beach framed by golden cliffs, and discover the quaint streets of Cascais’ old town, filled with boutiques and cafes. We’ll also visit the stunning Boca do Inferno, a dramatic sea cliff formation where waves crash against the rocks.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a seaside restaurant, where you can indulge in fresh seafood while gazing out over the sparkling Atlantic. Afterward, we’ll return to Lisbon, where you’ll have the evening free to explore more of the city’s nightlife or simply relax.

Today we say goodbye to Lisbon and head toward Aveiro, a picturesque town often called the “Venice of Portugal” for its scenic canals and colorful moliceiro boats. Along the way, we’ll stop at Fátima, one of the world’s most important pilgrimage sites, where you’ll have the chance to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima and reflect at this deeply spiritual site.

Next, we’ll stop in the medieval village of Óbidos, a fairy-tale town enclosed by ancient castle walls. Stroll through cobblestone streets lined with whitewashed houses adorned with vibrant flowers. After soaking up the charm of Óbidos, we’ll continue to Aveiro, where we’ll spend the night in this delightful canal-filled city.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before setting out to explore the enchanting Aveiro. We’ll take a boat ride on a traditional moliceiro, gliding through the city’s picturesque canals. Discover the vibrant Art Nouveau architecture that lines the streets, visit the local market, and taste the region’s famous ovos moles, a sweet treat unique to Aveiro.

After the tour, take time to wander on your own—perhaps visit the stunning Aveiro Museum or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this canal-side town.

Today we’ll venture out to explore Aveiro’s spectacular beaches. Visit Praia da Barra, where Portugal’s tallest lighthouse stands watch over the Atlantic Ocean. Stroll through the colorful streets of Costa Nova, known for its charming striped beach houses, perfect for photos! We’ll also visit Praia da Vagueira, a quieter, more serene beach where you can relax and enjoy the sea breeze. 

Today we’ll travel to Porto, a city rich with history, stunning architecture, and famous for its world-renowned Port wine. We’ll explore the historic Ribeira district, with its narrow streets, lively atmosphere, and incredible views over the Douro River.

To further enhance your experience, we’ll embark on a Douro River cruise, offering breathtaking views of Porto’s iconic bridges and the surrounding vineyards. It’s a serene and picturesque way to see the city from the water.

You’ll also have the chance to visit one of Porto’s renowned Port wine cellars for a tasting, learning about the rich winemaking traditions that make this city famous.

As we return to Aveiro, we’ll celebrate our final night together with a memorable Farewell Dinner, reflecting on our shared adventures and new friendships.

After breakfast, we’ll make our way back to Lisbon for any last-minute shopping or sightseeing before departing. Whether you’re revisiting a favorite spot or enjoying a quiet morning, this is your chance to savor the last moments in this beautiful country. Transportation to the airport can be arranged for an additional cost to ensure a seamless and comfortable departure.
